Individual Sessions
The Initial Interaction
After an initial phone call, I will suggest that we meet for a consultation to think about how we might work together. I offer both short-term and long-term therapy, which can also be discussed during that meeting. Then, we will agree on meeting for three initial assessment sessions. These sessions allow the clients to feel and think whether this is the right type of therapy for them, and myself, to understand better the clients' needs and see if I can offer the best support.

The Sessions
Individual sessions then offer the time for each person to build a relationship with the therapist to explore specific themes that arise in a safe and confidential space. A typical session begins with the initial connection between the therapist and the client. Then we move on to self-expression and self-exploration, depending on what the client brings, to support the clients' emotional well-being and to resolve social, relational and emotional difficulties. The session ends with time to reflect on what has happened in the session.
